METAMORPHOSIS IN THE FROG

Different frog metamorphosis of insects, because frogs do not undergo change of skin. Zygote initially develops into a tadpole (tadpole). Tadpoles have no legs but has a tail and fins. Furthermore grows hind legs. Substitution organ in frog metamorphosis adapted to the habitat changes from water to land. Gills change shape and function of a lung, tadpoles initially no legs, and tail disappeared. The process of removal of the tail through autofagositosis, meaning lysosomes in the cells of the cell takes its own tail.
Thyroxine hormone plays a role in frog metamorphosis. If the function of the thyroid gland in tadpoles inhibited, for example by cutting, failed to take place so that the tadpole metamorphosis remain a tadpole.
